The new 30-second teaser trailer for Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp offers a new explanation for what Ant-Man/Scott Lang (played by Paul Rudd) was doing while the rest of his Avengers buddies were attempting to save the world. The new video for the Ant-Man sequel also finds Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne teasing Scott about his size, taunting him, “If only Cap could see you now.”
The cast of the sequel to the 2015 Ant-Man action film also features Michael Pena as Luis, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer as Maggie Lang, Tip “T.I.” Harris as Dave, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Hannah John-Kamen as ghost, Abby Ryder-Fortson as Cassie Lang, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster / Goliath, and Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym.
Peyton Reed returned to direct the sequel from a script by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Paul Rudd, Andrew Barrer, and Gabriel Ferrari. Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produced the second Ant-Man movie, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Charles Newirth and Stan Lee serving as executive producers.
Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to open in theaters on July 6, 2018. Tickets are now on sale.
