A perky Scott Lang strolls the streets in the opening scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘s new trailer. Scott confesses that he’s often asked how he, an ex-con, turned out to be an Avenger. “But everywhere I go, people tell me the same thing,” explains Scott. And that would be? “Thank you, Spider-Man.”
The trailer also reveals that an invention has the disastrous effect of sending Scott and his family into the Quantum Realm, the secret universe that’s underneath ours.
The never-aging Paul Rudd reprises his role as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly returns as Hope Van Dyne/Wasp, and Michael Douglas is back as Hank Pym. Michelle Pfeiffer stars as Janet Van Dyne, John Boyega is Kang, and Kathryn Newton is Cassie Lang.
Peyton Reed, director of 2015’s Ant-Man and 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, returns to direct the third film of the series. Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard serve as producers.
Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania opens in theaters on February 17, 2023.
