Paramount+’s Apartment 7A tells the story of the Bramford and its devil worshiping satanists before Mia Farrow’s Rosemary had an encounter with the devil in Rosemary’s Baby. The first photos from the 2024 horror film show Ozark‘s Julia Garner moving into the Bramford and being taken under the wing of a seemingly kindly elderly couple.
The photos also feature Dianne Wiest (Mayor of Kingstown), Kevin McNally (the Pirates of the Caribbean films), and Jim Sturgess (Across the Universe). In addition, the cast includes Marli Siu (Everything I Know About Love), Andrew Buchan (All the Money in the World), Rosy McEwen (Blue Jean), and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith (Wonka).
“An ambitious young dancer Terry Gionoffrio (Garner) dreams of fame and fortune in New York City, but after suffering a devastating injury, an older, wealthy couple (Wiest and McNally) welcomes her into their home in the luxury apartment building the Bramford. When fellow resident and influential Broadway producer (Sturgess) offers her another chance at fame, it seems that all her dreams are finally coming true,” reads Paramount+’s synopsis. “However, after an evening she can’t fully remember, disturbing circumstances soon have her second-guessing the sacrifices she’s willing to make for her career as she realizes that something evil is living not only in Apartment 7A, but in the Bramford itself.”
Natalie Erika James, Christian White, and Skylar James wrote the screenplay, with James (Relic) directing. John Krasinski, Allyson Seeger, Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller serve as producers. Vicki Dee Rock and Alexa Ginsburg executive produce.
Apartment 7A premieres on Friday, September 27, 2024.
