‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ Finally Releases an Official Trailer

Warner Bros Pictures’ official trailer for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice begins with a warning from Winona Ryder that what you’re about to see is intense. Ryder’s character, Lydia Deetz, believed the trickster demon was gone forever…but he’s back now and ready to cause more chaos and wreak more havoc.

Oscar nominee Michael Keaton returns in the titular role, and Emmy winner Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek) reprises her role as Delia. Newcomers to Tim Burton’s weird Beetlejuice world include Jenna Ortega (Scream VI) as Astrid and Justin Theroux (The Leftovers) as Rory. The cast also includes Monica Bellucci (Spectre), Arthur Conti (House of the Dragon), and Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe (Poor Things).

“After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened,” reads Warner Bros Pictures’ synopsis. “With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.”
