A game of pretend murder gets out of hand in the new trailer for Bodies Bodies Bodies. The horror comedy will be released by A24, which immediately confirms it will in fact be weird and twisted.
Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan breakout Maria Bakalova stars along with Amandla Stenberg, Myha’la Herrold, and Chase Sui Wonders. The cast also includes Rachel Sennott, Lee Pace, and Pete Davidson.
Halina Reijn (Instinct) directs from a screenplay by Sarah DeLappe, based on a story by Kristen Roupenian.
Bodies Bodies Bodies wowed audiences at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival and sits at 96% fresh on Austin Chronicle describes it as “a fun, inverted single location thrill ride” and Paste Magazine’s Aurora Amidon says “it boasts a clever conceit and mostly effective execution, while also offering a refreshing take on the murder mystery.”
Bodies Bodies Bodies opens in limited theaters on August 5, 2022 followed by a wide release on August 12th.
