Marvel’s unveiled this brand new teaser poster for the Captain America sequel, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Chris Evans is back in the title role however, obviously, he’s not pictured on the poster. Instead, it’s the shield which gets the spotlight on this simple teaser poster.
Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens in theaters on April 4, 2014. In addition to Evans, the cast includes Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Robert Redford as Agent Alexander Pierce, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow, Georges St-Pierre as Georges Batroc. In addition, Hayley Atwell is back as Peggy Carter, Toby Jones plays Arnim Zola, Emily VanCamp is Agent 13, and Maximiliano Hernández is Agent Jasper Sitwell.
The Plot:
Captain America: The Winter Soldier will pick-up where Marvel’s The Avengers left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.
