Christina Hendricks says that providing the voice of the fairy ‘Serena’ in DisneyToon Studio’s The Pirate Fairy is a dream job. The Mad Men actress makes her animated theatrical feature film debut with the family-friendly fairy story which is coming to theaters next spring.

Directed by Peggy Holmes, The Pirate Fairy is an all-new fairy adventure that also features the voice of Tom Hiddleston (Thor, The Avengers) as Captain Hook. And in this video courtesy of Walt Disney Studios, Hendricks discusses being a part of the Disney family, what The Pirate Fairy is about, and her character.

The Plot: When a misunderstood dust-keeper fairy named Zarina (Hendricks) steals Pixie Hollow’s all-important Blue Pixie Dust and flies away to join forces with the pirates of Skull Rock, Tinker Bell, and her fairy friends must embark on the adventure of a lifetime to return it to its rightful place.

However, in the midst of their pursuit of Zarina, Tink’s world is turned upside down. She and her friends find that their respective talents have been switched and they have to race against time to retrieve the Blue Pixie Dust and return home to save Pixie Hollow.
