A New TV Spot for Dawn of the Planets of the Apes Has Arrived

20th Century Fox’s upcoming Rise of the Planet of the Apes sequel, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, has just unveiled its first TV spot. The new video includes new footage and made its debut during The Walking Dead season finale which I’m too traumatized about and can’t yet discuss.
 
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was directed by Matt Reeves and stars Jason Clarke, Andy Serkis, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo, and Judy Greer. Fox will launch it in theaters on July 11, 2014.

The Plot:
 
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
