‘Day Shift’ Trailer: Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg Slay Vampires

Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg take on bloodsuckers in Day Shift, a Netflix action comedy about vampire hunters who are in it for the money. Buffy did it for altruistic reasons but Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg kill vampires for cash in the official trailer for the 2022 film.

Dave Franco stars as a trainee who loses more than just his cool as he enters the world of slayers. The cast also includes Karla Souza, Meagan Good, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Oliver Masucci, Steve Howey, Scott Adkins, and Zion Broadnax.

Stunt coordinator JJ Perry makes his feature film directorial debut with Day Shift. Tyler Tice and Shay Hatten wrote the screenplay and Shaun Redick, Yvette Yates Redick, Chad Stahelski, and Jason Spitz produced. Jamie Foxx, Datari Turner, Charles J.D. Schlissel, Peter Baxter, and Alex Young executive produced.

Netflix’s trailer release was accompanied by new photos and the official poster. Day Shift premieres on Friday, August 12, 2022.

The Plot: Jamie Foxx stars as a hard working blue collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income, hunting and killing vampires as part of an international Union of vampire hunters.
