The official trailer for Netflix’s Extraction 2 starring Chris Hemsworth finds the Marvel star fighting his way through what seems like hundreds of well-armed bad guys in order to save a mom and two kids. All this after being declared clinically dead following the events at the end of the first Extraction.
Hemsworth described this official trailer on social media, saying, “Here you go. Extraction 2 trailer smacking you right between the eyes.” Hemsworth also confirmed the action thriller includes a single shot that clocks in at 21 minutes.
The nearly three-minute trailer arrived along with three new posters featuring Hemsworth in action.
In addition to Chris Hemsworth returning as Tyler Rake, Extraction 2 stars Golshifteh Farahani (reprising her role from the first film), Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt, and Tinatin Dalakishvili. Extraction‘s director and screenwriter – Sam Hargrave and Joe Russo, respectively – also return to put Hemsworth through hell in the sequel.
Hemsworth, Hargrave, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Patrick Newall, Sam Hargrave, Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Otstot, Eric Gitter, and Peter Schwerin serve as producers. Executive producers include Benjamin Grayson, Steven Scavelli, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, and Jake Aust.
Extraction 2 premieres on Netflix on June 16, 2023.
The Extraction 2 Plot:
After barely surviving the events of the first movie, Rake is back as the Australian black ops mercenary, tasked with another deadly mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held.
