‘Goon’ Unleashes a Red Band Trailer

Jay Baruchel co-wrote and stars in Goon, the 2012 hockey comedy which also features Seann William Scott, Alison Pill, and Liev Schreiber. Coming to on-demand on February 24, 2012 and in theaters on March 30th from Magnet Releasing, Goon was directed by Take Me Home Tonight helmer Michael Dowse.

The two-and-a-half-minute trailer is definitely not safe for work…or kids…or anyone who’s easily offended.

The Plot: Labeled an outcast by his brainy family, a bouncer overcomes long odds to lead a team of underperforming misfits to semi-pro hockey glory, beating the crap out of everything that stands in his way.
