‘Hotel Mumbai’ New Trailer with Dev Patel and Armie Hammer

Bleecker Street’s new trailer for Hotel Mumbai, based on a true story, is three minutes of intense action. The latest trailer effectively sets up the story, introduces the key players, and then ramps up the action.

The cast of the 2019 dramatic thriller is led by Oscar nominee Dev Patel (Lion) and Critics’ Choice Awards nominee Armie Hammer (Call Me By Your Name). Nazanin Boniadi (Counterpart, Homeland), Tilda Cobham-Hervey (The Kettering Incident), Anupam Kher (New Amsterdam), and Jason Isaacs (Star Trek: Discovery) also star in Hotel Mumbai.

First-time feature film director Anthony Maras directed from a screenplay by John Collee and Anthony Maras. Basil Iwanyk, Gary Hamilton, Mike Gabrawy, Julie Ryan, Andrew Ogilvie, and Jomon Thomas served as producers.

Director Maras’ behind the scenes team includes director of photography Nick Remy Matthews, editor Peter McNulty, production designer Steven Jones-Evans, and costume designer Anna Borghesi, with music by Volker Bertelmann.

Bleecker Street will release Hotel Mumbai in theaters on March 22, 2019.

The Plot:

A gripping true story of humanity and heroism, Hotel Mumbai vividly recounts the 2008 siege of the famed Taj Hotel by a group of terrorists in Mumbai, India. Among the dedicated hotel staff is the renowned chef Hemant Oberoi (Anupam Kher) and a waiter (Dev Patel) who choose to risk their lives to protect their guests. As the world watches on, a desperate couple (Armie Hammer and Nazanin Boniadi) is forced to make unthinkable sacrifices to protect their newborn child.
