Tom Hiddleston drinks, sings, and flirts as Hank Williams in the dramatic biopic I Saw the Light‘s first official trailer. British actor Hiddleston (Crimson Peak, Thor) shows off his Country music singing skills in the trailer which also features Elizabeth Olsen as Williams’ wife, Audrey Mae. The cast also includes Cherry Jones, Bradley Whitford, Maddie Hasson, and Wrenn Schmidt.
Written and directed by Marc Abraham, I Saw the Light opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.
The Plot:
I Saw the Light is the story of the legendary Country Western singer Hank Williams who, in his brief life, created one of the greatest bodies of work in American music. The film chronicles his meteoric rise to fame and its ultimately tragic effect on his health and personal life.
