President Obama has scheduled his annual State of the Union Address for January 12, 2016 which is bad news for Marvel’s Agent Carter fans who had already circled that date on their calendars. The scheduling of the State of the Union Address for January 12th has prompted ABC to move Marvel’s Agent Carter off of that date. It’s new season two premiere will be on January 19th at 9pm ET/PT.

The series will kick off season two with a two-hour premiere. Hayley Atwell is back as Agent Peggy Carter alongside James D’Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Enver Gjokaj as Chief Daniel Sousa, Wynn Everett as Whitney Frost, Reggie Austin as Jason Wilkes, and Chad Michael Murray as Chief Jack Thompson. Agent Carter is executive produced by Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Chris Dingess, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Joe Quesada, Stan Lee and Jeph Loeb.

The Marvel’s Agent Carter Plot:

Dedicated to the fight against new Atomic Age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home – perhaps even a new love – she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.
