‘Insidious: The Last Key’ Debuts a New Freaky Trailer

Universal Pictures just released a new trailer for the fourth entry in the Insidious movie franchise, Insidious: The Last Key. Insidious co-creator Leigh Whannell wrote Insidious: The Last Key and The Taking of Deborah Logan‘s Adam Robitel directed. James Blum (The Purge, Get Out), Oren Peli (Paranormal Activity), and Whannell’s Insidious co-creator James Wan produced the horror film which is set to open in theaters on January 5, 2018.


The cast is led by franchise veteran Lin Shaye and includes Whannell, Angus Sampson, Josh Stewart, Caitlin Gerard, Kirk Acevedo, Javier Botet, Bruce Davison, Spencer Locke, Tessa Ferrer, Ava Kolker, and Marcus Henderson. Steven Schneider, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Charles Layton, Bailey Conway Anglewicz, Couper Samuelson and Whannell executive produced the horror film.

The Plot: The creative minds behind the hit Insidious trilogy return for Insidious: The Last Key. In the supernatural thriller, which welcomes back franchise standout Lin Shaye as Dr. Elise Rainier, the brilliant parapsychologist faces her most fearsome and personal haunting yet: in her own family home.
