‘It’ New Teaser Trailer: The Kids Venture Into the Sewer

A brand new teaser trailer for the horror film It debuted during the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards. The incredibly creepy trailer features the film’s young stars heading into the sewer and discovering their dead friend’s tennis shoe. A red balloon floats toward them and pops, scaring the crap out of the kids. The new teaser also features new footage of Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise.

Directed by Andres Muschietti (Mama) and based on the bestselling novel by Stephen King, It stars Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip), Sophia Lillis (37), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, Nicholas Hamilton and Jackson Robert Scott. Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman adapted King’s book for the screen, and Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Seth Grahame-Smith, David Katzenberg, and Barbara Muschietti produced the much-anticipated thriller.

It is set to open in theaters on September 8, 2017.

The Plot: When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
