Lionsgate’s just released this new photo of Keanu Reeves in the upcoming action thriller John Wick. The studio’s planning an October 24, 2014 theatrical release for the film directed by David Leitch and Chad Stahelski from a screenplay by Derek Kolstad. In addition to Reeves, the cast includes Michael Nyqvist, Alfie Allen, Adrianne Palicki, Dean Winters, Bridget Moynahan, with Ian McShane, John Leguizmo, and Willem Dafoe.
The Plot:
An ex-hitman comes out of retirement to track down the gangsters that took everything from him. With New York City as his bullet-riddled playground, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is a stylized take on the “assassin genre”.
