Lincoln – Will it be an Oscar Contender?

Daniel Day-Lewis transforms into the 16th President of the United States in Lincoln, directed by Steven Spielberg and co-starring Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Sally Field. And with this new trailer it’s apparent Spielberg and Day-Lewis are likely to be kept very busy come awards season. It’s just the sort of project Academy members love, but it still has to live up to the hype.

Lincoln is coming to theaters beginning on November 9, 2012 (expanding a week later)
