Warner Bros Pictures’ new trailer for Magic Mike XXL kicks off with this warning: “We didn’t want to show the best parts of the movie in this trailer but it was very very hard to resist.” So, what does the new trailer show? Joe Manganiello putting sexy moves on a vending machine, Matt Bomer on a beach, and Channing Tatum once again “hard” at work in his garage.
We’re also pleasured with shots of the guys shirtless on stage, the introduction of Jada Pinkett Smith’s character, Manganiello going cougar hunting, our favorite male strippers practicing a new routine, and Elizabeth Banks liking what she’s seeing.
Magic Mike opens in theaters on July 1, 2015 and stars Tatum, Manganiello, Bomer, Kevin Nash, and Adam Rodriguez.
The Plot:
Picking up the story three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, Magic Mike XXL finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel. But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them. On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways.
