“You are not alone…”
General Zod issues a warning to citizens of Earth and to Kal-El in this new trailer for Warner Bros Pictures’ Man of Steel. And talk about your action-packed trailers – this new “Fate of Your Planet” trailer finds General Zod (played by Michael Shannon) and his minions wreaking havoc on Earth in their hunt for Superman (played by Henry Cavill). Directed by Zack Snyder, Man of Steel will be flying into theaters on June 14, 2013.
The cast also includes Amy Adams as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as editor-in-chief Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Antje Traue as Faora, Ayelet Zurer as Lara Lor-Van, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy, Harry Lennix as General Swanwick, Michael Kelly as Steve Lombard, and Richard Schiff as Dr. Emil Hamilton.
The Plot:
A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.
