Whether you love the idea of another Superman movie or not, it’s tough to knock the casting of Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel in Man of Steel. Just watch this 30 second TV spot if you doubt the man has the looks to pull off the part. And based on what we’ve seen of his performances in The Tudors and Immortals, it would seem he has the chops to handle the iconic superhero role.
Coming to theaters on June 14, 2013, the cast also includes Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Laurence Fishburne, Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon, and Christopher Meloni.
The Plot:
A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.
