‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ with Dylan O’Brien Releases Its Final Trailer

The final trailer’s just been released for the third film of the Maze Runner series, Maze Runner: The Death Cure. Wes Ball directed all three chapters of the trilogy based on the bestselling books by James Dashner, with T.S. Nowlin writing the screenplays for all the Maze Runner films.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure stars Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf), Kaya Scodelario (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales), and Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Game of Thrones). The cast also includes Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), Dexter Darden (Making Moves), Rosa Salazar (Man Seeking Woman), Patricia Clarkson (House of Cards), Katherine McNamara (Shadowhunters), Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones), Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), and Jacob Lofland (The Son).


Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, Joe Hartwick Jr, Lee Stollman, and director Wes Ball served as producers. 20th Century Fox has set a January 26, 2018 theatrical release date for the action adventure film.

The first Maze Runner was released in September 2014 and posted a $32 million opening weekend, domestically. It went on to gross $348 million worldwide before exiting theaters. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials followed in September 2015, opening to $30 million. The second film of the trilogy made $312 million over its theatrical run.

The Plot: In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.
