‘Night School’ Trailer and Poster: Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish Team Up

Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for the 2018 comedy movie, Night School. The two and a half minute trailer sets up Tiffany Haddish as a teacher who attempts to help Kevin Hart’s character make it through night school. Based on the trailer, Haddish’s character has her job set out for her when she tries to guide Hart’s character into learning enough to pass the GED.

Malcolm D. Lee directed from a script by Kevin Hart, Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, Matt Kellard, Nicholas Stoller, and John Hamburg. Director Lee recently worked with Tiffany Haddish on the critically acclaimed 2017 comedy, Girls Trip. His credits also include Barbershop: The Next Cut, The Best Man Holiday, Scary Movie 5, Soul Men, and Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins.

In addition to Kevin Hart (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) and Tiffany Haddish (If Loving You is Wrong), the cast includes Rob Riggle (12 Strong), Taran Killam (Saturday Night Live), and Romany Malco (Think Like a Man Too). Will Packer and Kevin Hart served as producers, with Malcolm D. Lee, Preston Holmes, and James Lopez executive producing.

Universal Pictures has set a September 28, 2018 theatrical release date.

The Plot: Star Kevin Hart and producer Will Packer, who partnered for the hit Ride Along and Think Like a Man series, bring their signature style to Night School. The comedy from director Malcolm D. Lee follows a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in the longshot chance they’ll pass the GED exam.
