Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures just released the official full trailer for the dramatic film, Operation Finale. Based on the new trailer, it appears Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures is ready to get into the year-end awards game with Operation Finale, a gritty thriller based on an incredible true story.
The cast is led by Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi) and Sir Ben Kingsley (Backstabbing for Beginners). Lior Raz (Fauda), Melanie Laurent (Now You See Me), Nick Kroll (The House), Joe Alwyn (Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk), Haley Lu Richardson (The Edge of Seventeen), Michael Aronov (The Blacklist), Ohad Knoller (A Tale of Love and Darkness), Greg Hill, Torben Liebrecht (X Company), Mike Hernandez (American Crime), Greta Scacchi (The Terror), and Pêpê Rapazote (Narcos) also star in Operation Finale.
Chris Weitz directed the film from a script by first-time feature film writer Matthew Orton. Weitz’ directing credits include The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Golden Compass, About a Boy, and Down to Earth.
Automatik’s Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger, Inspire Entertainment’s Jason Spier, and the film’s star Oscar Isaac served as producers. Matt Charman and Ron Schmidt executive produced.
MGM has set a September 14, 2018 theatrical release date.
The Plot: This thrilling true story follows the 1960 covert mission of legendary Mossad agent Peter Malkin as he infiltrates Argentina and captures Adolf Eichmann, the Nazi officer who masterminded the transportation logistics that brought millions of innocent Jews to their deaths in concentration camps.
