Behind the Scenes of ‘Brick Mansions’ with Paul Walker

One of Paul Walker’s final film roles before his tragic death as the result of a horrific car crash was the action thriller Brick Mansions based on the 2004 film District B13. Both Brick Mansions and District B13 star David Belle, one of the founders of Parkour, and both films feature scenes in which actors engage in Parkour. And in this interview courtesy of Relativity Media, Walker discussed working alongside David Belle as well as the film’s plot, his character, and being directed by Camille Delamarre.

Walker also explained what audiences can expect from the PG-13 action film.

The Plot:

In a dystopian Detroit, abandoned brick mansions left from better times now house only the most dangerous criminals. Unable to control the crime, the police constructed a colossal containment wall around this area to protect the rest of the city. Undercover cop Damien Collier (Walker) is determined to bring his father’s killer, Tremaine (RZA) to justice and every day is a battle against corruption.

For Lino (Belle), every day is a fight to live an honest life. Their paths never should have crossed, but when Tremaine kidnaps Lino’s girlfriend, Damien reluctantly accepts the help of the fearless ex-convict, and together they must stop a sinister plot to devastate the entire city.
