The riveting new trailer for Focus Features’ Promising Young Woman teases “payback never looked so promising.” The revenge thriller will premiere at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival followed by a theatrical release on Friday, April 17, 2020.
Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan (An Education) leads the cast playing the character, Cassie, referred to in the film’s title. Bo Burnham, Alison Brie, Connie Britton, Adam Brody, Jennifer Coolidge, Laverne Cox, Max Greenfield, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chris Lowell, Sam Richardson, Molly Shannon, and Clancy Brown also star in the Focus Features release.
Emerald Fennell wrote and directed the drama. Fennel also produces with Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara, Ben Browning, and Ashley Fox.
