In this interview video courtesy of Summit Entertainment, Sam Worthington (Avatar, Clash of the Titans) discusses his character (‘Nick Cassidy’) in Man on a Ledge and how he escapes from jail and winds up on a ledge. Worthington also talks about how the story evolves, Elizabeth Banks’ character, his character’s relationship to Banks’, realistically creating that tension needed while playing a character out on a ledge, and working with director Asger Leth.
The Plot: An ex-cop and now wanted fugitive (Sam Worthington) stands on the ledge of a high-rise building while a hard-living New York Police Department negotiator (Elizabeth Banks) tries to talk him down. The longer they are on the ledge, the more she realizes that he might have an ulterior objective.
