‘The Creator’ Trailer: AI Drops a Bomb and Starts a War

The harm that can come from being too dependent on artificial intelligence is front and center in the sci-fi action thriller The Creator. The new trailer shows the war that followed after AI detonated a nuclear warhead in Los Angeles, with humans attempting to put down a threat we created.

In addition to releasing a new trailer, 20th Century Studios unveiled a batch of new photos from the September 29, 2023 theatrical release.

Directed by Rogue One‘s Gareth Edwards, The Creator stars John David Washington (Tenet), Gemma Chan (Eternals), Ken Watanabe (Inception), Sturgill Simpson (Dog), Oscar winner Allison Janney (I, Tonya), and newcomer Madeleine Yuna Voyles.

Gareth Edwards co-wrote the screenplay with Chris Weitz. Edwards, Kiri Hart, Jim Spencer, and Arnon Milchan produce, with Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer, Natalie Lehmann, Nick Meyer, and Zev Foreman executive producing.
