Robert Downey Jr introduced the new trailer for The Judge via Twitter, saying, “Here’s a first look at #TheJudge. This is the kind of movie I grew up wanting to make. Only took 49 years. Enjoy.” – @RobertDowneyJr
Directed by David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers), The Judge cast is led by Downey Jr and includes Robert Duvall, Vera Farmiga, Vincent D’Onofrio, Dax Shepard, Jeremy Strong, and Billy Bob Thornton. Village RoadShow and WarnerBros are opening the film in theaters on October 10, 2014.
The Plot:
In The Judge, Downey stars as big city lawyer Hank Palmer, who returns to his childhood home where his estranged father, the town’s judge (Duvall), is suspected of murder. He sets out to discover the truth and along the way reconnects with the family he walked away from years before.
