‘The Week Of’ Trailer Starring Adam Sandler and Chris Rock

Adam Sandler and Chris Rock reunite for the Netflix comedy movie, The Week Of, which just debuted its official trailer. Rock and Sandler previously worked together in the 1990s on Saturday Night Live and then went on to co-star in the comedy films Grown Ups, Grown Ups 2, and The Longest Yard.

Adam Sandler co-wrote The Week Of with director Robert Smigel (Saturday Night Live writer). Sandler also serves as a producer on the Netflix original film with his frequent filmmaking partner Allen Covert. Barry Bernardi and Tim Herlihy executive produced the upcoming Netflix film which was shot in Long Island in 2017.

In addition to Adam Sandler and Chris Rock, the film’s cast includes Rachel Dratch (Great News, Imaginary Mary) and Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire, 30 Rock). Netflix has set an April 27, 2018 global premiere date.

Similar in the romantic comedy tone of Sandler’s most recent film Sandy Wexler, this film will be the perfect vehicle for Sandler and Rock and their millions of fans around the world,” stated Ted Sarandos, Netflix Chief Content Officer, when the production was first announced in 2017.

The Week Of Plot: The comedy tells the story of two fathers who are polar opposites (Adam Sandler and Chris Rock) and the dysfunctional hilarity that ensues when their families come together to celebrate the wedding of their children. They are forced to spend the longest week of their lives together and the big day could not come soon enough.
