Somehow, Warner Bros. Pictures’ final Digger trailer manages to show off dozens of new scenes yet gives away absolutely nothing that’s not already known about the much-anticipated film. Kudos to whoever cut the trailer.
Oscar winner Tom Cruise stars as the titular character. Oscar winner Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Oscar nominee Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Oscar nominee Jesse Plemons also star. Oscar winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu directed from a screenplay he wrote with Alexander Dinelaris, Nicolás Giacobone, and Sabina Berman.
Per WB: “The most powerful man in the world embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything.”
Digger will be released in North American theaters and IMAX on October 2, 2026. International audiences get it slightly earlier on September 30, 2026.
Iñárritu, Oscar nominee Mary Parent, and Tom Cruise served as producers, while Joshua Grode is the executive producer.
