Warner Bros Pictures just delivered an early winter holiday treat to Wonder Woman fans. Still six months out from its theatrical release, we now have a slightly better idea what Wonder Woman 1984‘s all about via the first full official trailer.
Gal Gadot returns to lead the cast as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Chris Pine reprising his role as Steve Trevor. Wonder Woman 1984‘s big villains are Max Lord (played by Pedro Pascal) and Barbara Minerva/The Cheetah (Kristen Wiig).
Wonder Woman helmer Patty Jenkins is back in the director’s chair for the 2020 release. Jenkins’ behind the scenes team includes director of photography Matthew Jensen, production designer Aline Bonetto, costume designer Lindy Hemming, and editor Richard Pearson.
Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Patty Jenkins, Stephen Jones, and Gal Gadot produce the sequel. Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns, and Walter Hamada serve as executive producers.
Warner Bros. Pictures has set a June 5, 2020 theatrical release date.
