The hunt for Osama bin Laden is explored in detail in the new dramatic film, Zero Dark Thirty, from Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal, the filmmakers behind The Hurt Locker. Jessica Chastain takes on the starring role of the key agent who obsessively tracked down leads which ultimate led to the discovery of bin Laden’s hiding place. The film also stars Jason Clarke and Kyle Chandler.
The Plot:
For a decade, an elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, devoted themselves to a single goal: to find and eliminate Osama bin Laden. Zero Dark Thirty reunites the Oscar® winning team of director-producer Kathryn Bigelow and writer-producer Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker) for the story of history’s greatest manhunt for the world’s most dangerous man.
Zero Dark Thirty enters theaters in limited release on December 19, 2012 and will expand into other cities in January 2013.
