Academy of Country Music Awards 2019 Nominees Announced

Chris Stapleton and Dan + Shay topped the list of the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards nominees, earning six nominations each. Following hot on their heels were Kacey Musgraves with five and Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line, and Bebe Rexha with four a piece.

The 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards will be held on Sunday, April 7th. The awards show will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. CBS will broadcast the show live beginning at 8pm ET (tape-delayed on the West Coast).

16-time Academy of Country Music Awards winner Reba McEntire will host the show for the 16th time.

Chris Stapleton’s nominations come in the Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year (nominated as artist and producer for A Room: Volume 2), Song of the Year (as artist and songwriter for “Broken Halos”), and Male Artist of the Year categories. Dan + Shay were nominated in the Duo of the Year, Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Music Event of the Year, and Video of the Year categories.


Tickets to attend this year’s ACMA event in Vegas are now available via www.axs.com. The show will be produced by dick clark productions. Pete Fisher, R.A. Clark, Reba McEntire, Barry Adelman and Marc Bracco will serve as executive producers.
