Barbra Streisand Unveils a New Music Video

Songs that never made it onto any of Barbra Streisand’s previous albums are finally being released, including “I Think It’s Going to Rain Today” written by Randy Newman and recorded during her 1971 Stoney End sessions. And Streisand, coming to theaters at the end of the year opposite Seth Rogen in The Guilt Trip, just unveiled the music video for “I Think It’s Going to Rain Today.”
“I Think It’s Going to Rain Today” is off of Streisand’s upcoming album Release Me (available on October 9th). The album features 11 unreleased songs spanning her career from 1963 to the present.
Commenting on the album, Streisand stated:

The thing I’m happiest about is that I still have great affection for all these songs. They appealed to me at the time… and still do. Listening now, I actually think to myself, ‘The girl wasn’t half bad.’”
