BTS Announces ‘Proof’ Anthology CD Tracklists

BTS Proof Tracklist

Grammy-nominated superstars BTS recently announced they’ll be releasing an anthology album titled Proof on June 10, 2022. To get fans hyped up, on May 7 (KST) a schedule was released of all the upcoming events leading up Proof‘s drop date.

First up on the schedule is the unveiling of the tracklists for each of the three CDs included in the anthology. The tracklist for the first CD was released on May 8th, with that CD acting as a chronicle of BTS. CD #1 kicks off with a remastered version of “Born Singer” which was unofficially released in July 2013 and is based on a song by American rapper J. Cole titled “Born Sinner.” “Born Singer” reveals BTS’ candid emotions after the first month of their debut.

CD #1 consists of 19 tracks total and ends with the lead single “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment).”

CD #2 is a collection of 15 solo and sub-unit tracks, with every track on this CD selected by the members of BTS. CD #2 will open with the new track “Run BTS.” The second CD is described by Big Hit Music as reflecting “each member’s different color and musical taste, and how these altogether form BTS’ charm as a group.”

And as if BTS fans (ARMY) weren’t excited enough, on May 10th the third tracklist was released and it’s filled with 14 special tracks. CD #3 includes two unreleased tracks: “Young Love” and “Quotation Mark.” It also includes various demo versions of previously released tracks such as “JUMP,” “I NEED U,” “DNA” and “Young Forever”. Plus, “Tony Montana (with Jimin)” originally from Agust D’s 2016 mixtape in a version that SUGA performed with Jimin at the 2016 fan meeting ‘BTS 2016 MUSTER [ARMY.ZIP+]’; an acapella version of Jungkook’s song “Still With You;” and a new fan song “For Youth.”

The third and final CD is described as “expressing the act’s affection and gratitude to their fans. As a special gift, the third CD is dedicated to their fans, ARMY.” CD #3’s tracks are only available on the CD except for “For Youth” which is also available on digital. Fans have been treated to some of these demos via small samplings on social media released by BTS members in the past. And now with Proof, ARMYS will get the joy of hearing them in full.

The anthology album celebrates the nine years of BTS’ journey since their debut and opens a new chapter as they enter into their 10th year as artists. BTS will celebrate their 9-year anniversary on June 13, 2022 just days after Proof is released.
