Rihanna Will Perform “Lift Me Up” at the Oscars

The 95th Oscars executive producers and showrunners Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner announced that nine-time Grammy Award winner Rihanna will perform during this year’s awards show. Rihanna is confirmed to sing “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The song marks Rihanna’s first Oscar nomination and is competing in the Original Song category.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is also nominated in the Best Supporting Actress (Angela Bassett), Costume Design (Ruth E. Carter), Makeup and Hairstyling (Camille Friend and Joel Harlow), and Visual Effects (Geoffrey Baumann, Craig Hammack, R. Christopher White, and Daniel Sudick) categories.

Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the 95th Oscars set to air live on ABC on Sunday, March 12, 2023. The show will once again take place at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
