Cher, Mariah Carey, and Mary J. Blige are among the 2024 nominees for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The 15 solo artists and groups who’ve made the cut will learn if they’ve been voted in in late April.

“This remarkable list of nominees reflects the diverse artists and music that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors and celebrates,” stated John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation. “Continuing in the true spirit of Rock & Roll, these artists have created their own sounds that have impacted generations and influenced countless others that have followed in their footsteps.”

Artists qualify to be nominated no sooner than 25 years after the release of their first commercial recording.

More than 1,000 artists, members of the music industry, and historians are eligible to vote on the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees. The induction ceremony will take place this fall in Cleveland, with the ceremony streaming live on Disney+. ABC will also host a special airing later this year.
