Van Halen will take the stage to perform on the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17, 2015 in Vegas. Billboard announced the rock and roll band’s been added to the awards show’s lineup joining previously announced performers Kelly Clarkson, Hozier, Nick Jonas, Ed Sheeran, and Sam Smith. This year’s Billboard Music Awards will also feature duet performances by Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray with Estelle, Fall Out Boy featuring Wiz Khalifa, Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea, and Meghan Trainor featuring John Legend.
Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen will host the awards show set to air live on ABC at 8pm ET (tape-delayed on the West Coast).
Van Halen’s sold 100 million records and the band has earned two Diamond awards in recognition of album sales exceeding 10 million units.
