Nominees Katy Perry and Lorde will take to the stage to perform on the 56th Annual Grammy Awards to be held on January 26, 2014. Airing live on CBS at 8pm ET, the audience for this year’s Grammys will also be entertained by Metallica and Lang Lang performing together on the Grammy stage.
Also set to perform are Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, and Nile Rodgers, who’ll all be joining Daft Punk. In addition, Robin Thicke and Chicago have just been announced as performers. Previously announced performers include Kendrick Lamar with Imagine Dragons; P!nk and Nate Ruess (of FUN.); and Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, and current nominee Blake Shelton.
LL Cool J returns as host.
Lorde will be making her Grammy debut this year and she’s up for four awards: Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance for “Royals,” and Best Pop Vocal Album for Pure Heroine. Katy Perry earned two nominations this year in the Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance categories.
