AnnaLynne McCord has been tapped to play a ranch hand on the upcoming season of TNT’s Dallas. McCord will handle a multiple-episode arc as Heather, a 20-something woman with a five-year-old son and a troubled ex-husband.

TNT offered a few more details on McCord’s character: “Having grown up in a house with four brothers, Heather is quite capable of handling herself around the Southfork ranch hands, but when her ex-husband returns, bringing turmoil back into her life, Christopher (played by Jesse Metcalfe) steps in, helping Heather resolve the conflict, and the two become involved in a romantic relationship.”

The series is currently in production in Dallas on season three, which will premiere this winter. Last season, the show averaged 3.8 million viewers.

Dallas, based on the classic TV series created by David Jacobs, stars Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Josh Henderson, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Ken Kercheval, Brenda Strong, Mitch Pileggi, Emma Bell, and Kuno Becker. And Judith Light will be guest starring this season.
