The CW has fallen for Beauty and the Beast and has given the dramatic series a full first season order. This means for those of you who’ve been a little afraid of becoming involved in the show, you can feel safe that it will be sticking around to complete its freshman year.

Mark Pedowitz, President of The CW, made the announcement, confirming the network’s ready to give the new romantic series a chance to further catch on with audiences. To date, Beauty and the Beast has been averaging 2.4 million viewers a week and the November 8, 2012 episode improved upon the previous week’s numbers by 9%.

The series stars Kristin Kreuk as Catherine, Jay Ryan as Vincent, Max Brown as Evan, Nina Lisandrello as Tess, Nicole Gale Anderson as Heather, Austin Basis as J.T., and Brian White as Joe.
