He’s back…but unfortunately not on a permanent basis. NBC announced Bill Hader will be returning to the Saturday Night Live stage to host the show on October 11, 2014.
The two-time Emmy nominated SNL alum was part of the cast of the series for eight seasons and has gone on to star in feature films after leaving the series. He’s currently on screen in the independent drama The Skeleton Twins with fellow ex-SNL cast member Kristen Wiig, and he has a supporting role in The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby with James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain.
Hader will be joined on the October 11th show by musical guest Hozier.
