Summit’s decided to release the DVD and Blu-ray editions of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 a month earlier than they’ve released the previous films on DVD – all because they want fans to be able to bring home Bella and Edward for Valentine’s Day. The Two-Disc Special Edition DVD and a Special Edition Blu-ray will hit stores on Saturday, February 11, 2012, with retailers hosting special Friday night midnight release parties.
“We thought the fans would love to spend Valentine’s Day watching Bella & Edward’s wedding and honeymoon. It’s really the most romantic of all the Saga films,” stated T.J. Moffett, Summit’s EVP of Home Entertainment Marketing.
