14 year old Australian recording artist Cody Simpson debuted on the Billboard 200 at #12 with his new EP, Coast to Coast, which features the #1 Radio Disney hit “On My Mind” (with its 7.3 million views on Youtube). Coast to Coast was released on September 19, 2011 and is the follow up to Simpson’s 4 U EP.
Simpson, currently sitting at #13 on Billboard’s ’21 under 21′ ranking, has been hitting the publicity trail in support of Coast to Coast, with appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Disney’s Prank Stars. He’ll also be MTV’s Push Artist the Week starting October 10th, with his “Not Just You” music video debuting on October 11th.
According to Atlantic Records, Simpson also has appearances scheduled for Nickelodeon’s Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures, ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and Live! with Regis & Kelly.
