Syfy Renews ‘Face Off’ for Sixth Season

Syfy’s reality competition series Face Off, currently airing its fifth season, has been renewed for another season. The network just announced Face Off will return in January 2014 for season six with 14 new artists competing in “extreme challenges.”

Syfy also announced details on two Face Off specials: Naked and Painted and Top 20 Countdown: Judges’ Favorites. Naked and Painted will air on November 12, 2013 at 9pm with host McKenzie Westmore. The special “explores the world of body painting with a variety of special guest experts including former Face Off contestants and the industry’s top body painting artists. The special will feature two start-to-finish body painting demonstrations in the lab.”

Per the network, the Top 20 Countdown: Judges’ Favorites special will feature Face Off judges Neville Page, Ve Neill, and Glenn Hetrick talking about the best creations over the series’ past five seasons. Top 20 Countdown: Judges’ Favorites will premiere on November 19, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT.
