If you’ll be home recuperating from too much celebrating on New Year’s Eve and need something to do that doesn’t involve moving off the couch, then FX has just the thing to keep you entertained on the first day of 2015. The network’s planned a first season marathon of their critically acclaimed series, Fargo, kicking off on January 1st at 2pm ET/11am PT.

All 10 episodes of the drama will air in order, with the first two episodes airing commercial-free. The network promises limited commercial interruptions during the rest of the episodes.

Fargo season one earned 18 Emmy nominations and won in the Outstanding Miniseries, Outstanding Directing, and Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries. In addition, Allison Tolman, Colin Hanks, Billy Bob Thornton, and Martin Freeman earned Golden Globe nominations and the series was recognized with a Golden Globe nomination in the Best Miniseries or TV Movie category.

Season two will start shooting next month, with FX aiming for a fall premiere. Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons have been cast in lead roles, and executive producers Noah Hawley, Joel Coen, Ethan Coen, Warren Littlefield, and John Cameron will be back for the new season. Hawley is also back on board as the series’ writer.

The Plot: An adaptation of the classic Academy Award® winning feature film of the same title by Joel & Ethan Coen, Fargo featured an all-new “true crime” story and followed a new case and new characters, all entrenched in the trademark humor, murder and “Minnesota nice” that made the film an enduring classic.

Oscar winner Billy Bob Thornton starred as “Lorne Malvo,” a rootless, manipulative man who meets and forever changes the life of small-town insurance salesman “Lester Nygaard,” played by BAFTA Award winner and Emmy-winning Martin Freeman. Colin Hanks played Duluth Police Deputy “Gus Grimly,” a single dad who was forced to choose between his own personal safety and his duty as a policeman when he came face-to-face with a killer. Allison Tolman also starred as “Molly Solverson,” an ambitious Bemidji deputy.
