Horror movie fans who like to get scared may want to check out the Insidious: Chapter 3 “Into the Further 4D Experience,” a virtual reality immersion opportunity using the Oculus Rift technology. The traveling road show will be hitting cities, including New York and LA, in support of the movie’s June theatrical release.

The 4D Experience will also stop in Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Dallas.

The 4D Experience is described as a fully immersive trip in which you’ll experience virtual and physical scares. Admission is free. If you can’t make it to one of the selected cities, there will be a downloadable version of the Into the Further 4D that features the virtual reality portion of the experience. In other to make the downloadable version work, you must have a Google Cardboard virtual reality headset, which is available at no charge via www.facebook.com/insidiousmovie.
