Julia Roberts Wins Hollywood Supporting Actress Award

Oscar-winner Julia Roberts has been selected as this year’s winner of the Hollywood Supporting Actress award at the upcoming 17th Annual Hollywood Film Awards. Roberts earned the honor for her performance in the dramatic film August: Osage County coming to theaters on Christmas.

Carlos de Abreu, founder and executive producer of the Annual Hollywood Film Awards, made the announcement, stating: “It is a privilege to honor Julia Roberts for her brilliant and passionate performance in August: Osage County. Julia continues to shine as one of Hollywood’s most gifted actresses.”

The Hollywood Film Awards Gala Ceremony will take place on October 21, 2013 in Beverly Hills.
