Netflix announced the release date for filmmaker Judd Apatow’s new comedy series, Love, via a short video that doesn’t include any actual scenes from the series. Love‘s 10 half-hour episodes with Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust in starring roles will be available for binge-watching starting on Friday, February 19, 2016. In addition to revealing the premiere date, Netflix also unveiled the first official photo from the upcoming series.
Love was created, written, and executive produced by Apatow, Rust, and Lesley Arfin. Brent Forrester and Dean Holland also executive produce.
Love follows nice guy Gus (Paul Rust) and brazen wild-child Mickey (Gillian Jacobs) as they navigate the exhilarations and humiliations of intimacy, commitment, love and other things they were hoping to avoid. Love is an unflinching, hilarious and excruciatingly honest take on modern relationships.
